Welcome to Trenchford Model Boat Club. Situated in the picturesque setting of Trenchford Reservoir in Devon, our club opens its doors to all interested in sailing model boats. Here are just a few images of the lake that we sail on to wet your appetite/ And stay tuned for more updates:

Even in the lightest of winds our sailing boats sail well, you can sail for as long as your batteries last, oh and remember to charge them each time you go to the water, Tip 2 Make sure you switch on your boat before launching. ~Yes sailors have forgot to switch on.
ReplyDeleteSailing has been going very well and mobile pontoon taking shape after a few set backs, we have been making buoys and now have our own tender which we hope will be on the bank soon. We cant leave buoys out so important to have tender with oars stored at the lake side.
ReplyDeleteElectrical, scale has been doing well but please use a lock nut on your propellors so you dont lose them, yes both. steaming forward and rammed into reverse to stop and guess what he lost both props in one go. See you on the water.
